Animoji iPhone X

Does anyone with the iPhone X noticed the animoji icon missing in iMessage? Used it once and it’s now gone. Could it be because my phone and iPad connected?

just guessing but.. does it look like this for you?
if so, tap the Applications button (red) and the panel will appear below with the animoji option in it.

hmm..
that was my only idea.

i haven't had the icon disappear before and i don't recall anyone reporting it as missing either..

hopefully someone else has a better idea.. otherwise, you might want to call Apple support to see if they know what the issue could be.

If you scroll all the way over to the right on the applications bar you’ll see an icon with three dots. Click that and you can select which applications you want to appear on the bar (and the order they appear in). Make sure that animoji is enabled and in the location where you want it.

I have this same problem. When I go to the three dots, there is a list of programs, but animoji (monkey icon) is not on the list.
