I’ve had five cables fail in the 16 years since purchasing my first iPhone. All five were either 30-pin or Lightning Apple cables. One even arrived DOA with my iMac purchased new in 2017. I replaced all with Anker cables and have not had any failures to date. Obvi, YMMV.

I love Apple's new(ish) 240W 2M USB-C cable. At $29 it's more expensive than the stuff that clogs Amazon and eBay, but it is reliable.

As far as Lightning, I buy whatever is the cheapest. I am not in a hurry to ditch Lightning (my iPhone SE and AirPods Pro are still perfectly fine for my needs), but I am eager for the day when everything I own is USB-C.

How do people feel about Ugreen? I've started using them recently because I've found Anker products not reliable in the past.
I’m using Ugreen cables and find them very sturdy and long lasting, much better than apple cables and half the price of apple.

Does anyone have issues with Anker cables. We’ve been using them for years but on the basis we have replace them every 6 months or so. No damage and mint condition but they just stop working.

Starting to drive me crazy! Any suggestions for any other brands of cables that are reasonably priced?
Never had a single anker cable fail

Yeah, I’ve run into the same issue with Anker cables. They start off great, but after a few months, they just give out. I’ve been switching around and trying different brands. Lately, I've had some expriences with Torras and also tried Anker, and both seem to be holding up well so far. I also like that Torras offers decent quality. Maybe give them a shot along with some other brands? It’s all about finding what works best for you

And this one is most recent which has failed

I thought it was just son my ruining this same exact cable 3 times, but it turns out I’m not the only one with issues with their Bio Base USB/C to Lightning cables. Anker has sent me replacements twice for cables suddenly not working and they just keep failing. They sent me a new replacement cable last week, and after a Day of use the cable just suddenly stopped working just like the previous ones. I’ve tried the cables on multiple power blocks with no success.

What is crazy is that I have some of their old USB-A Lighting cables from 4 years ago and they’ve still held up! Their newer stuff seems cheap…

Same here. I have so many Anker cables and chargers I’ve lost track. Every one of them still works great. I don’t know what OP is doing with his for them to fail.
Same here as well. Have many Anker cables and other charging products and never had a single issue. I actually like the brands quality. Also an aside Costco has been selling two packs of chargers and wires in store and I have a friend that works returns there and they told me never saw one return due to failure or issue, only return noted was for people who’d bought lightning to usb c instead of c to c as they have to different two packs and non tech mistakenly buy the wrong packages. FWIW

Costco is selling Anker cables now? Pretty cool!
