If I ever do want to buy an Anker product, I wait for a deal on ebay through their outlet store, especially when eBay has a coupon code that works. I’ll never pay full price for Anker stuff and I love them.

A couple of weeks ago I bought two Anker double charging blocks on Amazon that were $20 each, with the no-name versions going for $10 each. I couldn't bring myself to risk burning my house down to save $20 total. I still trust Ankers more than the no-names.

Why are they still putting USB-A on their latest chargers? It seems like they have run out of ideas.
Most people want it.

Not people like us in here—with a level of tech enthusiasm that lends itself to early adopting new(er) standards like USB-C.

Do I have any numbers/data to support this? No, but I bet Anker does.

Because it’s still relevant for folks. I’m 100% in the Apple ecosystem, but have an Apple Watch charger on USB-A, two iPhones on lightning and an iPad and MacBook Air on USB-C. So I thoroughly enjoy the versatility of an Anker charger that caters to all.
