ESR has a foldable Qi2.2 3-in-1 with active cooling too:

It looks more compact too. At least thinner which makes it easier to slip into small pockets in bags.

Found a decent review (ie. not just an ad). It charges significantly faster than Apple's own 25W MagSafe charger.

Unfortunately, he didn't do a test with turning the fan off to really see if the fan actually did anything.
Cryoboost? mmm that username does fit! $100+ charger that will be obsolete in 2 years or less but “Cryoboost” 😂

Anker used to be a brand which stood for highest quality at lower prices. Now they have become the Rolls Royce price point and brands like Belkin are cheaper.

I've moved on to U-Green and Baseus which seems to offer what Anker used to be.

At 89.99 this is a much smarter choice than the Anker IMO.

Also I think this whole fan thing is a waste of time. I have yet to see anyone use a thermometer to check the phone temperature after charging with and without a fan. It is not like the fan actually has chiller built in.

I've been using Anker's version of that design for a couple years, and I find the placement of the Watch charging pad to be clumsy. You have to reach behind the flipped-up iPhone charging pad to get to the Watch pad, which becomes more clumsy if you've got an iPhone on its pad as well. Anker's new design places the Watch charging pad just behind the upper end of the iPhone pad, which looks like it would be less clumsy to work with. Personally I think Anker's 3-in-1 charging cube is even better, since its Watch charging pad is off to the right side altogether, though the cube is a little bulky for putting in a backpack or suitcase.

Agree but I use it as my travel charger. It goes in my briefcase. i find it works fine when traveling. i prefer the cube at home, although I currently run a QI2.2 from uGreen

I generally really like Anker products. I have so many Anker cables and chargers. I probably have a Anker charger for every outlet in my home. That said, ESR offers essentially the same product for less money. I don’t see anything that justifies the $50 premium over the competition.
I just wish ESR had tilt adjustable desk chargers. I feel theyre trying to be as cautious as possible with minimizing a hinge where wiring goes through but their products always perform as advertised and are always a steal.
