If you are in or close to Ann Arbor, Mi a college is offloading their 4,1 single CPU cMP towers and it is strictly local pickup and are selling for a good price.

I have contacted local to them UPS store and the charge to ship to chicagoland zip (pickup, pack, ship) is around $140.
Check out their existing ended auctions for reference.

Can you send me a link or more info? I live in Ann Arbor and am at University of Michigan. Where am I supposed to search?

NVM found some eBay links. Looks like they are going for around $400 which I am not sure is a great deal.

Note of caution: I don't believe a 2.26 quad core was ever offered in the 4,1. 2.26 dual quad were offered in the base eight-core model. It's possible these are actually eight-core models, eight-core models that had a cpu removed (can't remember if the dualies will run with only one cpu), or just inaccurate listings.

According to Mac Tracker you could get a 4,1 in 1x 2.66 or 2x 2.26

Both quad core
