Annoying ads that follow you down the page

Is it possible to disable ads like these?

The way it follows you down the page (but not at the same speed as the scroll) is highly irritating. And the fact I don't even know what this one is advertising proves they don't work for me anyway!

I'm on Safari 5.1.5 - what are you on and how do I get it? These ads seem to be everywhere and they're really effing me off.

I'm using Firefox with Adblock Plus and free subscription to a list of blocked sites. I don't see any ad at all on that page let alone a scrolling one.

Use a browser with decent ad blocking plugins and you won't have this problem. Safari is a poor choice if you're bothered by ads.
