Annoying: all windows pop up from minimized randomly

Macbook 15 2019 with Mojave 10.14.6. From time to time, sometimes every few minutes, the dock goes down und up again and all open minimized windows get big. Any idea how to stop this behavior?

From time to time, sometimes every few minutes, the dock goes down und up again and all open minimized windows get big.

This sounds as if the Dock is either crashing or some third-party app is trying to quit it.

I don't really know what could be the underlying cause for these crashes, though. If you have any third-party tools running in the background, I would try disabling these one by one to see if any of these might cause the issue.
