Annoying bug: Cable or accessory not supported (random)

Anyone else getting the cable or accessory not supported randomly? I have only used official cables and chargers but I get this annoying notification multiple times throughout the day whilst the phone isn't even plugged in!!!
Happened three times just navigating this forum to create this post!
Not impressed with the reliability of this new model, first one I had was DOA and now this..!

yes i get it on my 6 plus. usually i restart the phone or reset the network settings

This problem is often caused by dust in the lighting port. Try blowing it out or using a cotton Wool bud. You might be surprised what builds up in there from carrying it in your pocket.

Restarts I've tried, network settings I haven't... Has this stopped it?

well if you can charge with the phone off that usually works too.
yes for me it has stopped the error message
