I have had an annoying flickering on the screen with both my M1 mini and my wife's, especially when there are dark areas in the image.

We've had the minis since December one and January the other one, so we've had to live with this annoying issue and were hoping that it would be fixed with Monterey, but nope.

I think it's likely a software problem, because when it happens it goes away if you switch to another app/window and comes back when you switch back to the app affected in that moment - it happens very often with browsers when watching stuff.

I know that I'm not alone because I've read other people complaining about this on Reddit etc. So I was wondering who else has this here?

Why in the world would you judge a new OS that's barely in the beta stages? It hasn't become a public beta as of yet. I get that you're having an issue but to call out an unreleased OS for not fixing the issue is very premature, and sorry to say it makes no sense.

I have the same issue with my M1 MBA when I'm using it in clamshell mode. Annoying is an understatement.
