Annoying icon in Mac toolbar menu

How do I remove a icon on the top menu where the battery is ? Like a program i downloaded called avira its icon is there but i don't want it there and its there even when i close avira!!!!!

HELP HOW DO I REMOVE IT;(!

Command click and drag the icon away from the menu bar

if its a third party app, you may have to go into their settings/preferences and uncheck any menu bar icons

yeah no i already tried that didn't work for any icon.

Its a anti virus , i already looked everywhere it wasn't an option there.
