annoying popups

Hi all

im having an issue with a popup on my iMac running mountain lion, the popup blocker is on but having no effect.

the redirect is to

http://serve.bannersdontwork.com

its a known trojan for windows with instructions to get rid of it but nothing for Mac os X

tried iAntivirus and deleting extentions in safari preferences but no effect
