Annoying problem - Preview launches every time I boot up

Every time I boot up my MBP, I get the following error message in the PREVIEW app:

The file “HDDVD.jpg” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it.

I checked out Login Items in Prefences and I delete the item, but when I reboot, another jpg file is trying to be viewed in PREVIEW so I go back into Preferences/login items and delete that as well. It never ends.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this? 😕

Check your drives permissions:

Also, check that Preview is not present in your startup folder.

Permissions are ok but the startup folder was the culprit.
