Since iOS 8 I recognized several annoying bugs in safari.

1. When browsing the macrumors forums (or some other sites) and navigate back to the previous page, safari first scrolls up for a second and then down from where I started.

2. Sometimes the scrolling is stuck. It scrolls automatically without me touching the screen. When I close the tab, Safari crashes.

Does anyone else have these problems?

1. Yes I have this bug. Slightly annoying but nowhere near as bad as my next bug.

3. When scrolling and leaving your finger in the screen, half, most or all of the screen goes white!! Now this really annoys me. Ipad air 2.

Ah yes, almost forgot about that one! It only occurs on some pages though.... I guess if a page is structured with tables, the content isn't loaded while scrolling.

I've encountered the first item, but can't say I pay attention to it all that much. Haven't really seen the second item. I do run into copy/paste issues in Safari fairly often though.

Yes, number 3 drives me insane, I thought I had a bad OS install and was considering wiping clean but looks like I am not the only one that experiences this bug, I tend to leave my finger on the iPad when I swipe down only to find a blank page, it's like shock therapy haha....wish they would fix this it's been going on even in iOS7 from what I can remember, I don't see many people complain about it you are the first in a while so I had to post, hopefully this gets fixed!!

It's annoying to me because it takes a while until it scrolls to where I was. Meanwhile I usually started scrolling there manually, so I always end up further down than I wanted to...

I rarely see folk mention the near-constant spinning data wheel in Safari. I've had this in every version of iOS8 and clean installs without using a backup don't make it go away. It occurs on practically every website I visit, including MacRumors.

Is this not something that many suffer from, or do they just fail to notice it?

It's frequently there and annoying as heck. Strangely, I see it more often on my Mini 2 than my 6+.

The new Chrome update has thankfully fixed this bug (the older version had it). So why can't Apple fix the bug in Safari? I'll be peeved if it's still there in 8.3

*Just to add. The Chrome browser does have the spinning data wheel on the Facebook website but on no other site I have visited. It seems to be verging on bug-free aside from the strange FB mannerism. It's a shame that the UI is so poor, it's so much better on Android. Still, until/unless Safari is fixed I'm finding the latest Chrome app to be a far less irritating proposition.

2. Autoscrolling is horrible. Im not sure does it crash, i rarely use safari at all, but when i use it, i hate that it suddenly starts behave like possessed and scrolling...

Hate to jinx it but it appears the Safari blanking out while your finger is held on the glass for iPad Air has been fixed in iOS 8.3 for me, this has been going on since iOS7 so I am a happy camper.

On my iPad I usually use the swipe to go back or forward feature and I'm not sure if it happens on all websites or not, but when I go back and forth (with the swipe gestures) the screen flashes white and hangs for awhile, often times the location of the page is lost. Once I start scrolling it randomly jerks back to the right spot. Extremely agravating. Issues are alleviated or gone when using the buttons to go back and forth. But who wants to reach all the way up to one of those tiny buttons? Not me.

Oh and let's not forget ALL THAT STUTTER on A7 iPads when tapping the URL bar as the keyboard slides up. It's so bad. Oh, and speaking of keyboards, start making a post on here, and split the keyboard. Now scroll up and down on the page. Really stuttery, probably about 20fps. May not do this on iPad Air 2 because of the insane specs. Hopefully Apple won't just forget about older iPads, because if they just threw specs at their problems and forgot about the mess on older devices, I will be really mad.
