:( Hey guys I installed a printer driver and app directly for a BROTHER CD and after the install i delete the app because it was buggy and the driver also failed me.. Long Story short i got a different printer that was a little more mac friendy.

But:mad:
after everything NOW AT STARTUP install utility runs and tries to install the app without the CD in the drive (freaky) and it even shows the name of the app
MFL-BROTHER PRINTER somthing or another please help.

maybe there is a super awesome uninstall app out there for mac.
i switched from windows about 2 yrs ago and used to use REVO uninstaller it was great even had an advanced option for going in the registry to remove even the most pesky leftovers from a previous install.

:confused:much thanks ahead of time

That's weird... I'm sure other users will tell you about uninstall apps, I don't know much about them, but have you checked out what is set to run at startup and maybe remove it from the list?

If you go to accounts>login items you can see if it's on the list, and then remove it, so it shouldn't start up every time you log in.

That doesn't solve the problem of it being left somewhere, but at least it might get rid of the symptom...

Download AppZapper for uninstall needs. It's shareware but for deleting up to 5 applications and their backend files it's great.
