Hey guys, I have a slight problem with my trackpad. It sometimes doesnt respond to taps or clicks, and the double tap right click is delayed for about 5 seconds, especially annoying when I play fps. I still have the one year warranty that comes with every mac, and I have the extended applecare warranty. I don't know what caused this to happen, just started after I had a software update.

So, am I eligible for a replacement trackpad, or even better, a replacement macbook?

this same thing happen to my mid 2009 MBP and the genius bar ended up replacing the trackpad. took a day or two though.

Wow, that was a fast reply. Sweet :p I'd really like a new trackpad. I wouldn't mind waiting for a day or two. But in my country, it'll probably take a week or so *sigh*

Had my trackpad replaced by a Genius not too long ago and was in-out the door in ~10 mins with everything working. Was well impressed with the service! :)
