It would seem that many/most of the features of X Server are intended to be used as an intranet services provider with user--based access. At least that's how they seem to promote it. What if I want access to some of these features to be available on a public website?

For example, what if I want wikis run on the X Server to be open (viewable and in some cases editable) to the public? What if I want the public to be able to view selected calendars hosted via iCal Server?

Also, is anyone familiar with the architecture behind the new streaming media model? Will QuickTime Broadcaster still be needed to send a feed to the server that is nor distributed via HTTP instead of RTSP?
