Today I transferred and then deleted about 20gb of files from my startup disk, which brought me up to about 25gb free. Less than an hour later, I was at 3gb free! Where did the other 22gb go?! I've heard of people losing about 9gb in log files, but 22 is ridiculous, and where would the log file be?
I've tried whatsize, but it stops searching after 20gb.
I have an appointment at an apple store tomorrow, hopefully they can help me out. (I'm not going for this, I'm having my firewire ports replaced, but this is just one more thing to add)
