As the camera is facing you, and is not steerable in any way, you see what the camera sees - which is YOU...
Turn around - the camera will then see your back (or at least the back of your head)
Or, you can duck down, and anything that is in the range of camera will be in view.
Or, you can turn the MacBook from side to side, until the camera picks up what you want to show.
If you want to have an adjustable camera view, then you will need to connect another webcam of some kind to do that. Logitech and others have useful webcams. Many will work on your Mac.
