You can change the orientation of the watch in the set up app on the iPhone.

You can indeed, but in that case you will be wearing the watch "upside down" which puts the digital crown on the bottom left, rather than the top left as in the picture.

With the recent reveal of Karl Lagerfelds custom build, I would imagine there might be a few more one offs out there.

To be fair unless you turn the brightness up full then 90% of that shot I could have mistaken it for a SS, had I not of been told.

Possibly, but I would think putting the crown on the other side would be a relatively huge change to make, and for no reason since you can flip the watch in software anyway.
