Thought I'd add a few impressions and try not to repeat most of what has already been posted here.

Setup: not typical Apple experience. 25 minute spinning beach ball after deselecting fire vault (since i read that that was the cause). I had to update to 10.10.3 which was another 25 minutes so 50 minutes total to start.

Data migration: I tried to embrace the wireless move here. I use music match and photo library to move everything to the new computer. Music match was good it took about 15 minutes to download 25 Gb of music. Photos were very slow took hours and hours to download 40 Gb. I tried to let it run overnight but computer went to sleep and download stopped. I used iCloud drive to move some of my files over ant this worked well.

Installed parallels and installed a copy of my windows 7 paralles file from a time capsule hard drive. this work well and i had parallels with win7 up and running in about 10 minutes.

Impressions:
love the design and screen the track pad seems natural.

I like the keyboard but is is very different. It has a high quality feel, but i have to be more deliberate with my keystrokes. I would miss keys initially but you do adjust quickly. The keyboard is noisier, it is a quality sound, but there is a definite thud with every keystroke.

Overall everything seems to run smooth including windows and quicken using parallels.

The battery life seem to be about 7-8 hours for me after the firs couple of days of set up. The battery capacity out of the box was 96% according to coconut battery but that may change with a few cycles.

Overall its a very nice computer
