Another GM today, now at build 16A323

Could be that some minor bugs are being fixed prior to release in these builds, that I certainly wouldn't object to. But since I'm already running 16A322 it's probably not worth going through the hassle of performing another installation with the full installer.
Not GM, rather GM candidate. There were multiple GM candidate builds for Yosemite and El Capitan as well.

Except last year, they were clearly labeled as "GM Candidate". This year, they're just labeled as "GM".
Not complaining BTW. Actually tickled me a bit...
It's all covered in the thread linked in post #2. You need to download a new installer through the App Store.
Nope. It's a GM Candidate. Always has been. The El Capitan GM was also different a newer build than the GM candidate last year, though they never released a new candidate in between.

Tomorrow we'll see the final version of the final final version.
Most likely noticed the work being done to install it on unsupported Macs, and they had to install one more roadblock.
