Another iphone 3g 3.1.3 jailbreak query...

Hi All,

Would anyone mind having a read of the below please?

I'd like to jailbreak, but not unlock my iphone (i.e. i'm happy enough with my current network).

Is it possible to jailbreak my iphone 3g? I (perhaps unfortunately) have the 3.1.3 firmware with 05.12.01 baseband, but as I say - I'm not interested in swapping networks. Also, my boot rom is version 596.24.

I forumed/googled this last night but my results were inconclusive.

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at redsn0w but it said it was only for up to 3.1.2??

Follow that link, and it has all the instructions, step-by-step.
When it asks you to select the firmware, select 3.1.2, NOT 3.1.3

That should jailbreak your iPhone.
