I have my itunes list sorted by Album Artist, that way they're all in alphabetical order by the artist name so it's easy to find stuff. The problem is that it also sorts the songs alphabetically, so when I want to play a particular album, it doesn't play the songs in the proper album order. Any way to keep the albums sorted alphabetically while maintaining the proper song order on each album?

TIA!

That's not how my iTunes behaves. If I sort by album artist, the tracks are still in order. Strange.

I suggest to press CMD-B to get genre, artist and album in the overview. That way you can select the album you want and sort by track number. :)

When you check the Info box see that the Track number etc is correct…
when you do a "Show in Finder" you will see that the tracks have been numbered in the Album order 01, 02, 03 etc… and not alphabetically.
