Currently own a 2006 macbook - and been looking at upgrading to a macbook pro for a while now.

I need - atleast 4GB RAM, 256G storage capacity, x900 resolution on the short edge. primary heavy usage is photo editing (lightroom) and minor development

The Macbook pro solved my resolution problem - but the 8GB 256G SSD put the price at 1699 -- until the refurb store now lists this exact config at a sweet spot (for me) of 1359

So -- my question to all experts is simply - should I get this now. will the summer updates, of which haswell appears to be the only significant one, put the price of the 2013 macbook pro with the above config in the 1699 price range -- i dont think i would want to pay 1699 for this config.

does my reasoning make sense - am I missing anything ?

Apple might increase the storage in the 13" from 128 to 256 standard. In that case, it would be $1499 minus the refurb if you could wait 1-3 months past release date.
