I would like to be able to do raid 5 on my mac pro using the RocketRAID 2302 Host Adapter does anyone know if this will work on the macpro it does use PCI-e x1 (x4, x8 and x16) slot compatible . I have installed the Newer eSATA Extender Cable for Mac Pro will it somehow conflict with the raid setup ie 2302 any advice for raid card would help.😕
would also like to keep the cost of card under 250$.

thankz

Daft question - is there a reason you'd prefer the 2302 over the 2304? The 2304 has 4 external eSATA connectors, but the 2302 has two external eSATA connectors and two internal eSATA connectors. Internal eSATA connectors aren't that useful.

The RocketRaid 2304 is $190.75 shipped from Tiger Direct.
