I tried to take two similar photos at the same time. Just by looking at them, can you tell which one is from a 6 plus and a 5s? Are we reaching a plateau in regards to picture quality?

Look the same to me. Agree about the low light tho that is probably a difference (I wouldn't think a huuuuuge difference but should be a difference nonetheless)
 
I just did a bit of a different comparison.

iPhone 6 Plus vs iPhone 4s. The results are rather surprising. The winner is obvious in low light. But in good lighting, the 4s has a bit more detail. It's a lot sharper and doesn't suffer from the "Monet" effect like the 6 Plus does. Pretty funny. Thin lines such as those on printed money are sharper and easier to make out on the 4s.

Of course, I'd much rather have the 6 plus for it's great low light performance and speed. Just making an observation.
