I think this prototype looks very nice...

Most of the concepts go nuts with the thinness. To the extent that you could not fit the internals in to power the device.

I'm hoping for something fairly simple, with iPhone4 DNA because I think it's a beautiful design, and a larger HD display (no OLED though).

Something like this.

Except for OP's photos (which looks like a cleaner design version of the SG3 IMO - face view), why do all these leaked photos look too similar to the 4/4S? Here's my take. I think the next iPhone will be completely different from the 4/4S - different in the same way the 3G/3GS was from the 4/4S.

Time will tell......

I think most are assuming Apple will continue with the external antenna design for the sake of internal space for batteries, LTE, etc etc.

But I agree with you though. The design will probably be quite different because Johnny Ive will probably want to flex his muscle to show what he is capable of even in the absence of Steve Jobs.

The iPhone 4 was actually a huge departure from Ive's recent apple work, so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with next.

I would love this.... I would switch back over to black too if it was exactly like this.

Very well may be, but I find the whole notion that they are going to extend the length of the phone while keeping the same width to be pretty unlikely. Apple is a company that often covets form over function.

An elongated version of the current iPhone flies in the face of that line of thinking.
 
A few of these concept renders look nice. A few.
I've noticed a majority of them are either ugly or completely unrealistic by today's standards.

As someone mentioned, that thinness lol. That's probably like what, 2 Ritz crackers thick?

And looks like they're moving way from the black/white color scheme...you get one color: Macbook Pro

I mean it's nice to guess and make a design based off what you want, but so, so many are unrealistic

I love the iPhone 4 design but I hope that after over 2 years on the market, Apple has come up with something different. I'd hate to see another 2 years with the same design.

I agree with you on this. I really do hope that there is a redesign that involves width as well as height. I am sure that Johnny Ive will make something extremely aesthetically appealing! I liked my iP4 well enough but without a case it always felt too delicate and small.
