Some other designs that have caught my eye.

Mind you, I'll be the first to admit I prefer clean modern lines and straight edges over angles and curves like on the Lumia and One X. Meaning I think the 4/4S looks much better than any previous iPhone.

There will be, the question is how refreshing will be? they cant afford a whole year with all these new phones coming out.

Apple has nothing to worry about. The iPhone is a wildly popular phone. I have friends who own iPhones and are still using the original OS that came with the phone. They don't know how to update, they don't follow all the buzz about leaked phones, new software, etc. they just use the phone. And they represent te majority of phone users.

So if Apple gave us no new iPhone this year sales will still remain high and profitable.

I read most web pages in portrait position. The thing I dislike the most about a stretched screen is that characters will not be any larger. With expanded width, there will be larger characters. I see no great benefit to simply lengthening the display and calling it 4 inches.

I hope that on the Iphone 5 it use a strong glass that doesn't get scratched easy and there is no glass on the back of the Iphone.

it's already scratch proof. Do you carry your phone in a bag of diamonds? Two years in my back pocket with nothing but an apple bumper and I don't have a scratch on mine. What do you people do with your phones that causes the screens to constantly scratch and break?

While I do see your point, the majority of iOS users are running iOS 5. This was covered during the iOS 6 keynote. They claim that iOS users update to the latest while Android users not so much. Given, just the mention of the word "Android" means you've introduced a thousand hardware variables into the equation which might explain why the upgrades are not as widespread.
