I don't know to much about computers
I notice the new imacs are 800MHz. So what does ram with 800MHz mean? Compared to 667MHz? Is the 800 faster?
Does crucial or any 3rd party ram sell 800MHz ram? Im really lost.
thanks
Oh and is apple ram better than 3rd party ram? Some guy at the apple store told me, it was more stable and they had the best performing ram.

Yes, the 800MHz ram is faster. It should be the same DIMMs as used in many PCs, but if you want to be absolutely safe, the memory companies like Crucial and OWC should have 800MHz "iMac-specific" modules out shortly (even if they are the same modules as the PC's use).
