    Greetings:

Safari has been crashing for me regularly and now won't open it all. The problem is unique to one of my Mac, a late '09 iMac, which I am planning to replace with a 5K iMac within weeks. I have other Macs which do not have this problem. I deleted a few preferences through Finder but I am hesitant to do a complete install on this machine. I am running 10.10.1 Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    David

Do you have DropBox, Google Drive or something like that installed?

The warning "External Modification Warnings: Thread creation by external task." in this crash log sounds like some external code is infinitely spawning threads within Safari.

Safari is back and working better than ever. I removed Google Drive (although I had not used it in a while) and stopped DropBox from syncing. I also just ran Clean My Mac 2 aggressively. The end result is that Safari is back and DropBox has resumed syncing.
