If you have control centre enabled on the lock screen.

Someone can nick your phone, go to CC and enable airplane mode.

Hey presto, your phone can't be tracked with Find My Iphone.

OK so we have activation lock in iOS 7, but still....

They could always just turn your phone off anyway, and hey presto, your phone cant' be tracked with Find My iPhone.
