Another Superdrive Problem

Has anyone ever had this problem?
Last night I put a dvd into my superdrive and the computer kernel panicked so I had to shut down.
Now when I boot up it tries to boot with network mode and the only way to get it to boot normally is to reset the PRAM. This has happened twice so far.😡
