another upgrade question

I have a 13" mb unibody with leopard and ilife that came pre-installed

If i go with the £25/$29 upgrade path will this keep my ilife in tact or will i need to buy the box set to keep my ilife software.

I'm confused...

Upgrading saves ALL of your files and settings.

Don't buy it straight up for $29, you can get it for $9 if you purchased after June 2009.
