Bought a used MBA here with a bad screen - Not knowing how expensive these top assemblies are.
I could have used it as a desktop but did purchase a used damaged LCD panel which had some flaws. After a month or so that display took a dump. Bought another assembly but from a different year with one small push in the LCD.
All works except for the web cam which is no big deal for me. Also replaced the bottom cover as that was damaged too.
I need to use a bottom cover to keep the machine level. The computer was dropped before and the top assembly has been tweaked.
All in all I’m in about $370-$380 in this machine and love it.
Nice upgrade from my 2012 13” i7 in terms of battery life and weight.
I also have a lcd bezel cover as I feel the top is so thin it can be easily damaged.
