Would be great if you answer on watch since it's so easy, then if your get your phone out, on the screen it says continue call.

For all I know maybe this is how it works, the call is from the phone anyway, maybe it just automatically works this way.

If not it would make a ton of sense.

From what I've heard, you can transfer the call over to your iPhone (continuity)

It does sound like something Handoff/Continuity could handle.. would be nice to know if it actually works.
 
Yes, this is how it works, because this is how it currently works Bluetooth devices.

If I answer a phone call while driving, I can switch it over to my phone. iPhone displays private mode.
 
Hopefully apple.com will updated their guided tours sections with the phone calls video to show us exactly how this works.
 
You can do this currently if you answer the phone call on your mac or iPad. You can at any time just pick up the phone and it switches right to it. So I would assume it will work the same with the watch.
