i have the iphone 2g and i want to use it as a phone, i have AT&T but i don't want the data plan, i put my sim card in and it works.
will it charge extra ?
and if it doesn't, what am i able to do without charging extra?
can i picture message, use wi-fi, regular text message ?
and if i can use wi-fi, how do i use it without charging money ?

any answers will help, thanks :)

You have to call or go online to disable the data plan for your original iPhone.
Text and MMS messages always cost extra; the only way to avoid charges for those is to not use them. You can add a texting plan to make it cheaper.
Wifi only costs money if the connection you're using charges; otherwise, it's free.
