Hi,
I'm using Apple Mail on my MBP (Sonoma 14.7).
Here's the sequence of what I do that leads to my issue:
1) I write first a new e-mail to example@website.com and select "Hide my email" in the drop-down menu (OK)
2) Someone from website.com replies to my "Hide my email" address (OK)
3) I hit the "reply" button in order to reply back and there come the issues:
➡︎ Apple Mail uses the e-mail address that is configured to be my default address in the app as the sending address. So I have to manually change that before sending my reply. Why on earth doesn't Apple Mail select the previously generated "Hide my email" address?
➡︎ If I manually select "Hide my email" in the drop-down menu (because of previous issue), a new address is generated; it's not using the same as the one generated at step #1.
➡︎ I actually need to select the email address that is associated with the "Hide my email" feature, in my case my Apple account e-mail. It's quite confusing to see this very address I'm trying to hide as the sender.
Is this the normal behaviour?
Thanks.
