I keep having AA issues in OS X, especially in apps like firefox. I have tried changing the AA settings in the appearance tab in System settings but it really doesn't change anything.

One of the main ones is in Firefox is there is any kind of hover object or animation (ie, animated gif) then the text will continually bolden until it's illegible.

    example:

Another thing in Firefox is once and a while (seems to happen randomly but it may be caused from one of the issues on the page mentioned above) the bookmark toolbar links will bolden also.

    the area highlighted here:

Anyone ever run into these problems? Sometimes other apps like iTunes will have weird AA issues also.

You look to be using some sort of theme mod?

Maybe try removing that and seeing what happens?

I get the same problem. I also have uno and the GrApple theme for ff. Maybe that has something to do with it
