Anti Apple On Palm Site.

I would not call a couple of threads 1/2.

So you have a Mac site where you'll find some decent bashing of MS and now the Pre, why can't you have a Pre site that bashes Apple?

I don't see the point of getting all frantic about it. People will inherently always want to defend their purchases.

A couple of threads, half the the threads on that site is bashing Apple, most people on this site don't give a damn about the Pre, the only reason the Pre even comes up on this site is when you have stories like the recent itunes hacking debacle. Do you see people on this site developing such caricature?

Yeah, really. I played around with a Pre for the first time yesterday.. and wow! I can't comprehend how they can sell a device that's so cheap and flimsy. It felt like a toy.. no, really.. a cheap toy. What a joke. When you slide it open it wobbles from side to side.. it has the "cheese cutting" edge on it.. what a joke of a device.

BTW, the picture of the Pre leaning on an Apple.. I'm guessing that's an apple they took a knife (Pre) to? Sharp bastard. They'll probably start getting used in muggings.. lol.

No I have been reading the site to find out more info about the Palm Pre. It's actually quite amusing.

- "Palm is a 1.0 product so it shouldn't be compared to an iphone 3.0".

- In response to anything negative about the Palm Pre, well Apple didn't have it when they launched the iphone so its alright.

Bull, none of that happens here. Please show me one example of someone on this site calling a reviewer a Palm fanboy because they didn't give the iphone a perfect review, or they found a competing device to be faster than an iphone, or the iphone didn't come on top in one category.

Fair enough there may be threads with tattoo pics etc. but I've not seen an avatar on here quite like that. My first impression is 'what a bonehead'. I could imagine that kind of avatar being more popular on a redneck dating site!
