Hi, I just ordered a new 15 inch Macbook Pro, the first Mac that I'll actually be owning (although I used one in Junior High and enjoyed it greatly). This might be a dumb question, but do people actually install antivirus software on their macs?

Don't waste your time. You won't get any viruses. :)

don't waste your time and money. im frustrated enough with anti-virus on my sister's pc. because apple's market share is so small, people who make viruses dont want to waste their time on such a small platform

I don't see the need to run "anti virus" on any of my Windows machines, let alone my Mac :)

    (that's a no :p)
