Ants In My Keyboard

No this is not a Joke...
As I was just browsing the forum (in my garage with the MacBook) a super little ant went on my keyboard and right as I saw him he went under the "J" key on the keyboard... Is it possible the ant could some how short anything out???
I dont know how the hell Im gonna get this little bastard outta there now!?
If nothing is at risk then he can just come out whenever he wants but I dont know if its possible for him to do any damage in there...

Anybody??

Did you do this: jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj and try to kill him? Or go on Hulu and activate the fan. I dont think you can do anything and I dont think he cant do anything. Just enjoy your friend for now, I am sure he wont do any harm.

No I didnt mash him with JJJJJJJJJJJJ!! HAHA! I honestly didnt know what to do!! I was like WTF!?!?!?!
 
I can't seem him do anything bad, so you should be ok I wouldn't worry about it. But keep your screen open so he can get out, or he isnt going to get out and die there.

Yea I hope he wants to leave soon! I couldnt imagine him wanting to stay long with no food in there but like you said I hope he doesnt die in there or something...

Im sure its nothing but how bad would that suck if my Mac got fried out cause of a little ant!? haha! thanks again!

that would really bug me because I bring my macbook to bed to watch shows on netflix whale i fall asleep it would suck if the ant like came out of your keyboard and in to your mouth lol but on a serious note your fine I don't see it messing any thing up he might kill him self though

You are lucky he didn't get far enough in to fry your graphics hardware!

This machine had a logic board that wouldn't power any inverter board with any LCD, after a trip to a very shady shop. This little guy was found under the GPU heatsink.

With Apple's trademark thermal paste application. he didn't stand a chance. I tried to poke him off with a toothpick and he disintegrated immediately.

God that would be all I need!! Thankfully I was ripping a dvd so I think that made him leave early, I imagine it would be pretty hot in there!

Hahahahahahahahaha, it's all good. Shady was complaining that the attach feature wasn't working either.

I think part of it is that loads are way up with the new MBP announcements and the iPhone 3GS coming out.

You might not like it but Im just used to it. Its close to the 2.2 you posted...
I did this one myself.. 4 or 5 tries and this was the best I got doing it myself..

haha...thanks for saying that before I did.

Sorry OP (I had to do this), but your 'pet ant' is probably chillin' right in between your fan & hard drive...just enjoying the heat wave with a nice cool breeze - throw some bread crumbs in the spacebar key, so the 'guy' can eat, gees!!! :p

But really, I got no suggestion, except for laying an ant trap next to your MacBook. Or to save a life, put the Mac back in your garage, and see if he'll return home to his pals....poor guy :p

Use canned air and try to blow him out!

Hey you might kill 2 birds with one stone there: blowing out the ant and getting rid of dust or whatever is underneath x]

Even though we both have 9C89, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say your panel has a slightly different response than mine, as that profile is way yellow for me...
 
Posting this as I read this thread... LOL

This ad was at the bottom of the window (google ad) and thought it was funny that it came up.
