Where are you from to have ants crawling out of your computer, and to think its normal to write 'fings lyke dis'?

    Anyway.

Take it to a Genius, or call Apple and see if you can have it serviced or something - so that someone can open it up and clean the thing out.

There are tiny ants here in Texas that are attracted to electronics. They wreaked some havoc during the summer. May I suggest storing the lappy in a zipper sleeve?

Strange problem but may I offer a possible suggestion.

First, since you mention the ants coming around the keyboard mostly, I would think if you didn't spill anything into it then maybe it might be that small food residue from your fingers might be getting on the keys themselves from typing. Like if you have eaten anything recently then wash your hands really good before typing on the keyboard. Try taking a damp cloth and wiping down the keyboard surface really good then take the machine and place it, while turned off, into some type of airtight container. Like plastic sealed tupperware or something and leave it there for a day or two. This should kill off any ants living in it because there will be no air for them to breath.

Then try to use some compressed air in a can to blow out the dead ants and as some else here suggested, store the laptop when its not being used in a zippered sleeve or case.

I think that will get rid of your problems. Good luck to you.

I couldn't have said it any better myself, that's an excellent suggestion.

try running some cpu intensive program that'll raise the temperature of your MBP and make your fans go faster. maybe the heat will drive the ants out

Try playing Crysis for a few minutes, that should burn out the ants when the CPU gets to 160+ degrees :D

Try putting your mac next to a windows machine. Perhaps the ants will be attracted to the bugs in windows and leave your mac.
