Any 5s users regret updating to iOS 8? (lag / battery issues?)

My 5s actually seems more fluid and responsive on ios8 compared to ios7. Maybe it's just the animations, but overall, it does feel "snappier". :p
 
8 has been perfect on my 5s, via OTA upgrade. Battery life improved and super smooth. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Both our iPad 4's via OTA have been glitchy/laggy, especially Safari. I reset settings on both and did hard resets as well. I'm considering restoring via iTunes and see if that helps.
 
other than my 800+ PHOTOSTREAM pics now being gone :mad: , no issues at all with performance, seems more fluid now :D .
 
Not sure yet, but the install used up about 40% of the battery. I did my 5s over wifi and not connected to my iMac and iTunes. I'll have to keep an eye one it over the next week as today was not a usual useable day for me.
 
No issues. It seemed like there was a bit of stuttering here and there last night but its been very good since then...
 
No complaints here. Some design features are making me regret it slightly, but nothing where the performance of my 5s is concerned.

Maybe we have different understanding of that, but it's clear as day when you go into safari open a page and use that new two finger pinch feature that takes you to that screen where you see all the open tabs and pages from iCloud tabs and so on. It's clearly lags.

I updated OTA as well and it's running absolutely perfect. No lags, no hit to battery life, no tab reloads, nothing. The best update since iOS 5 in my books, at least in terms of long awaited features.
 
Any of you with the 5S notice any some stuttering/lag when scrolling down in the stock wallpapers?
 
Anyone having issues with scrolling on their 5s? Seems like everytime I swipe up or down, its malfunctioning and going wherever it wants to.
 
Things are going swimmingly so far - battery life is good and no noticeable slowdown.

OTA update here.
 
On both 5s and iPad Air everything running as smooth as if not smoother than before. I did the OTA update on both devices with wifi.
 
my internet on 5s is slower. It cannot connect to speedtest app at all.
Although my mac is showing full speed internet speed using speedtest.net.

Weird..
 
I experienced crushing battery drain with the GM, so I restored back to iOS 7 last week. Updated to iOS 8 OTA and now I'm not experiencing the battery drain like before. Not sure if it just didn't take the first time or if something got corrupted in the process. Or if it was simply that apps needed to be updated to iOS 8. But my 5s battery is fine now
