Any 5s users regret updating to iOS 8? (lag / battery issues?)

At the moment I'm finding iOS 8 is performing better on my iPhone 5s than it is my iPad Mini w/Retina Display.

In fact I'd go as far as saying it's somewhat faster than iOS 7!
 
So far no issues with 5S battery. Don't look for battery usage apps because it seems to be shown used app for 24 hours.
Got almost 11 hours standby and 30min usage with WiFi, bluetooth, LTE always turned off. Lost only 2 percents over night

No problems here.

Some animations seem to be smoother than iOS 7, notably keyboard rotation and Spotlight.

Personally I'd be more interested in 'usage' times for battery life from 100 to 1% (minus the time the it's simply playing music with the screen off).
 
Noticeable lag/stutter when gaming (World of Tanks Blitz) and it's not the connection issue. Tried reinstalling the app, same thing. Also notice some slow down on certain apps or when opening them. Not sure if it's my phone problem or the OS... Never had those problems on iOS 7. Safari also seems a bit slower than before.. but that's just me.
 
iPad Air is running perfect. iPhone 5S had severe battery drain (it would drain to zero in an hour with nothing playing and the screen off) and overheating issues. I did a clean install and set it up like a new iPhone and that fixed it. It's now running perfectly, very smooth, very cool, and battery life is as good or better than ios 7.
 
Animations are definitely smoother. But some apps are lagging. And on the home screen, its having difficulty differentiating a swipe and a click. So, lots of apps are opening when I just meant to swipe away from a home screen. Never has this issue in iOS 7.

Battery life is a little bad right now, but that has always been the case with every update. Seems to get better after a couple of days.

Yes my Iphone 5s have wifi problem after install ios8. the wifi is weak now and on and off. My laptop has no problem with the wifi so I think its just my Iphone 5s.

Also i feel the phone lagged now...I hope Apple release the update to fix the bug soon
