My iPad Air was really speedy when it came out but with the current IOS-12.4.2- it's pretty slow. Any advice on speeding it up would be appreciated.

Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do. You can attempt reinstalling iOS using iTunes. Create a backup using iTunes. Once it’s reinstalled, restore the backup.

That’s the best thing you can do to attempt to give it a minor speed bump but unfortunately the old hardware can only give you as much performance as you are seeing right now.

Thanks. I deleted almost everything off the iPad. I will try this.
