And that's the difference between USC and Stanford right there...
Not that Stanford's scholarship athletes are at full academic parity with the rest of the student body, but they do better then any major D1 school.
Oddly, a fair number of potential Stanford athletes who didn't make it through admissions ended up at places like... Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.
I dunno, it could have been worse. If had claimed he was a Bama fan and a Vol fan, then I would have had some doubts.
For the record, I can't stand Bama. I hate houndstooth hats. I hate the ghost of Bear coming down and making us lose too many games against them. But mostly I hate the butt whippin they hand to us on an all too frequent basis. How that idiot former coach of ours managed to beat them twice is beyond me.

I was at the game and yes we played absolute awful. Our DBs sucked it up. Im not saying we would have won but i know it would have been a lot closer game if Andre Smith was playing because that would have opened up the run game

Correct. Let the trash talking commence. But I must also add in, Alabama is not a team to be a fan of unless you like punishment. Possibly a top 40 team in the nation.
Im for state to and me haha and actually my whole fraternity hate alabama... So bad that only one guy liked them( we gave him hell when they lost to florida) and also destroyed his alabama belt that he left just laying around.

All this talk is good reason why the SEC is considered THE best college football conference, no contest. And you wonder why so many football players in the SEC end up in the NFL.

I wasn't a Bama fan until my school kicked them to the curb at the Sugar Bowl last year. Now I wish we could play them every year.

Oh, believe me. That school up north is #1 on the list. I decided a while back to use the Woody Hayes method when referring to them.
Bama fans are obnoxious, but I suppose they have a right to be arrogant. But, I swear, the next time I see that stupid box of Tide with a roll of toliet paper on it, I will set it on fir. The ones who get on my nerves are LSU fans. They are the worst fans in college football. Geesh. Rude, arrogant, and they smell like corndogs. ) The sad part is I grew up about 90 miles from LSU, and almost went to school there. Arkansas fans always make me feel better about myself. They are the biggest rednecks in the conference.Geesh. That is their natural state of being, I believe. Louisiana didn't raise their drinking age to 21 until after the feds cut off their highway funding. Even then, their first attempt had so many loopholes in it, the feds threatened to cut of funding again after a couple of years. These people have beer in their baby bottles.
I have friends who were in the MSU band, and they have many horror stories of LSU fans. They would do stuff like rush the band bus, and start rocking it back and forth, try to start fights with band members, etc.
I'm guessing with that kind of spelling that "your" both UAT graduates, right?
I have heard these stories about the band. Il probably never go to an LSU game and if i do im not going in my car for sure haha
