Any Alternatives To Apple's Av Cable???

I want to get an AV cable to plug my iphone 4 into the TV so I can watch the videos/photos I take and maybe watch BBC iplayer.
BUT I don't really think it is worth paying nearly £40 !! just for a cable. Are there any alternatives out there??

I have a Scosche set of iPhone component cables I use with my iPad and iPhone. Works perfect with both. They were $37 US on Amazon. Or ebay.
