iPhone 11 Pro Any app for local music upload and play on CarPlay ?

And then play it on Apple car play on my BMW.

What are the best options to do that ?

Spotify and amazon music both dont allow you to upload your own collection or downloaded music.

I don’t know about amazon but Spotify (premium) allows downloads and works with CarPlay.

I had the same question when I got my iPhone Pro Max. It's my first iPhone and I have previously only ever used Samsung Note phones. With Android phones it's so easy to transfer songs from my PC directly to the phone. Just connect it via USB and basically drag and drop. I thought the iPhone would be just as easy but I was so wrong. It's so frustrating that I cannot simply drag and drop files to my iPhone. I did find a way though to transfer my music onto my Pro Max using iTunes. I used the guide from this YouTube video:

I currently have almost 20GB of my personal music collection transferred to my iPhone using Itunes. It's not an intuitive procedure and Apple seems to go out of their way to make it difficult to put your own music files on the phone. CarPlay works perfectly though and it has no problem playing any of my music. I have to say though that Apple Music is AMAZING and it's definitely worth the monthly fee. It's so easy to find songs on there and download them directly to my phone. I really love it. Other than the frustrating problem with transferring files to my iPhone I have to say that the iPhone is my favorite phone and I am very happy with Apple and the Apple ecosystem.

I think Apple Music does what you're asking.

I dont see any option to upload music files to Apple Music ?
Do you do that on Mac or iPhone ?

The stock music app allows this doesnt it? I took on Apple Music last year but prior to that i used to have my own music collection that totalled nearly 40gb on a PC. I would move stuff i wanted to my phone using iTunes and it worked fine.

The way i found best to manage things was to have a couple of playlists and sync those to the phone. I would then add to and remove from these playlists as i wanted then sync to the phone. CarPlay is just an extension of using the phone so you then use the music app pretty much as you would on your phone to access it all.

I only changed to Apple Music as my PC bust and i was only using it really to manage iTunes so just switched to getting stuff online instead.

You mean import external music to Apple music without apple subscription and it will auto sync to iPhone ?

You will need to use iTunes on your PC, you import the music to that and then from there you add\remove to\from your phone. Its pretty simple to do. Once its on your phone its then just played via the stock music app either directly from the phone or via Carplay.

iTunes is Apples music managing software and there are multiple ways to get music into it. You can import downloaded music, buy music from iTunes or have a monthly apple music subscription.
