CarPlay Any app for speed cam alerts on CarPlay?

Is there an app that runs in background or similar that can be used with Apple maps or google maps that shows and alerts to speed cams while using CarPlay?

Also want it to run all the time even when do t have a route planned, as in just driving where you haven’t planned a route.

So do I just open Waze when in car connected with CarPlay and even if use another app, even though no route planned on Waze, it will alert me when just driving along.

Don't have speed cams here, alerts will pop up when using another map app. You need open Waze first before using your current map app. It works while using apple map. I don't know about google map?

Found Radarbot. Runs in background and announces over CarPlay.

Only thing is even though I’ve made a shortcut to “when CarPlay connects, start app Radarbot” it doesn’t run it, well it does but asks me via notification to tap to run. This is even with the toggle “ask me to run” off as well. Not sure what’s going on there.

Pity as when I manually start it, it runs and warns, even when no route for any nav app is running.

Exactly. I do this all the time in the UK.

In fact, I set up an automation so that every time I connect to CarPlay then Waze opens on Alarms only. (Hate voice directions)
