Just curious, is there a app from the Appstore (not Cydia or anything outside the Appstore) that shows your running processes (like Phone, Mail, Safari) etc etc.
 
Memory Sweep is one and is also free. However, you might not be able to get it any more, since they're pulling the free memory apps from the app store (at least for iStat).

I need a app for a non jailbroken iphone, which is why i asked...not for me, for a friend.
 
Was istat forced to pull the free memory feature in the update by apple, or did they do it for some reason of their own?

Without that feature, the app is virtually useless.

It was Apple. There's a thread about it that came out a few days ago.
